GENERAL INFORMATION Sardis-Lone Elm Water Supply Corporation is a non-profit, member owned water supply corporation established under Chapter 67 of the Texas Water Code and is rated as a "Superior System" by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.  There is an elected Board consisting of Directors that serve three year terms.  These Directors are not compensated and they serve in an effort to better this community.  Currently, we have three elevated storage tanks with a capacity of 1.1 million gallons and six ground storage tanks which can hold a total of 2 million gallons.  Our water is pumped from the Trinity aquifer and the wells are 2700' deep.  The Corporation was established in 1962 and has grown to over 4000 active members.  We are currently in the process expanding our production capabilities in order to accommodate the steady stream of growth that we have experienced over the past several years.
